The German Shepherd Dog began as a dog bred to maintain the qualities of Utility and Intelligence. We maintain this by crossing the lines. We include dogs with sound structure, exceptional mental health & free from genetic disorders - in order to accomplish this, we have brought in dogs with strengths that compliment one another.
Our lines trace back to some of the great American Show, American Working, West German Show, West German Working, Swiss Working, Canadian Working and Canadian Show. We maintain dogs that THINK! We DO NOT import or purchase Titled Dogs to breed together, our duty to the breed is to create a better dog each and every time we breed, not to benefit from someone else’s “win’s”. That is not to imply that we do not use dogs with titles in our breeding program, as we do, but we do not purchase a dog based upon titles, dogs that are added to our program are added after extensive research.
We have individually known this breed since we were young girls. The breed deserves MORE than just breeding for titles. We live with our dogs, we work with our dogs, we know our dogs, what attributes they pass along to their children & grandchildren. Our dogs grow with us and we bring them into our breeding program ONLY after they have shown us they are worthy to be bred. We remember when German Shepherds were safe, sound and beautiful and we have committed to continue this in our line and provide this to you.
