MondouCu’s Do It Again Winter 2009

ShaTaHa Agusstust Trinity x MondouCu’s Aine Dreamweaver

Born December 16, 2009 - 3 Males 5 Females

$1200.00 LTD - Two Solid Black Females, Remainder of pups are Blk/Red or Blk/Tan

The ”Do it Again” naming saga:

As with all of our litters, the litter name is a combination of the sire & dam’s name OR a theme that fits the litter. Aine x Gus have always been known as our “All American” litter and it wasn’t until this last fall that I realized that the combination of their names is “Again” - something we should have seen years ago when they gave us their first litter... it was certainly a litter to “do again”.  We know this breeding of ours better than any of our other breedings - this is the fourth repeat of this breeding and probably the last as Aine belongs to my son, her boy child Taylor - who is now all grown up, moved out on his own and missing his faithful companion and friend.  We cannot begin to express how thankful we are to Taylor for allowing us this last breeding so we can retain at least one female from this breeding in our own breeding program.  Pups from this breeding are well known as true companions, friends and confidants... they are excellent with children, reliable with the elderly and extremely easy to train.  Although we do their “stories” as we do with all of our litters, we know that ultimately these pups are worth their weight in gold. If you’d like photos of pups from older litters of this breeding - just ask... we have several and we are more than willing to share.  The only caution we ever have to give anyone with regard to this breeding is simply to remember that yes, they are gorgeous... but don’t let their looks fool you - they are wickedly smart.

You can watch this litter grow daily on Facebook... per Taylor’s request, a photo of the litter will be taken and uploaded there every evening.

Red Collar Male

“Chiri”

SOLD

Born 12/16/09 9:54am .83#

BLK/RED

This is an opinionated little male.  He is confident, yet he is very alert and fairly easy to rattle. Once he is upset, he does not diffuse quickly and remains on alert.  He is a diligent pup and needs a home that has routine & structure.  He is a strong candidate for a good protection alert.  He moves toward stressors.

Chiri is doing wonderful!

We are just loving him up, he has already been to his first 4th grade basketball tournament and loved it.

Thank you,

Green Collar Female

Born 12/16/09 11:47am .51#

BLK/RED

This little girl is determined and opinionated. She gets upset fairly easily and she is not at all easy to diffuse. She is not exceptionally pushy and she takes everything in stride.  She is curious about all things that are new and she wants to figure things out for herself.  She is also going to be quite the tattle-tale.

Orange Collar Male

SOLD

Born 12/16/09 10:27am .63#

BLK/TAN

This is a sweeter type male. He is going to be a lover, not a fighter.  He is not very easy to rattle and once he finally does rattle, he is easy to diffuse. He is aware and confident and moves toward stressors. He will thrive in a home that is calm and relaxed where he can be a constant companion and friend.

Orange Collar Female

SOLD

Born 12/16/09 10:18am 1.21#

BLK/RED

This little girl is SO cool! She is self assured with a quiet confidence, she is easy going and not easy to rattle at all. This is “one of those bombproof” pups of Aine’s that could EASILY go and live in a home with multiple young children, going everywhere and doing everything, following in the steps of her mom.

This little girl is self-assured while taking absolutely everything in stride.  She is an extremely confident and  determined little girl.  She has a VERY long fuse - she is hard to upset and once she finally does become upset about something, she is very easy to diffuse. She is going to alert to outside stressors. Very nice little girl.

This is a nice, solid, bee-bop sort of guy. He goes with the flow.  He has an exceptionally long fuse - not being rattled by much, however he also has a strong sense of internal confidence and once he is stressed, he does not diffuse quickly. He is very trainable and is a good obedience prospect.

Yellow Collar Female

“Maui”

SOLD

Born 12/16/09 10:52am .82#

BLK/TAN

This little girl is a bossy, problem solving confident little girl.  She is not overly dominant and she is not easily rattled, but she is certainly not a couch potato.  She isn’t phased by much of anything and she is more than happy to move toward a stressor and “just take care of it herself” without any form of dominance or aggression.

UPDATE 02/15/2010

Hi Dawn and Lori,

Just a quick note to let you know Maui is AMAZING!!!  She is such a good girl and is doing so incredibly well for such a tiny pup. She is a dream!

She has been pretty good in her kennel at night. Less crying, screaming, and whining than we were expecting.  She is VERY excited to be let out each morning. She is certainly loving the human attention she is getting, and she is adjusting and bonding well to our family. She loves to cuddle.

Although late at night and in the early morning she does not like the temperature outside, she is doing very well going potty in her designated area. She is eating well. She does not quite get 3/4 cup down at each feeding, but she is close. She had a bath on Sunday morning.  She didn’t like the washing that much, but boy did she LOVE being dried! It was so cute!  She just wanted to stay in my lap and be dried and dried and dried with the towel.

She has had a few visitors and everyone is amazed at what a great pup she is.  She has her preliminary visit to the vet tomorrow with her next shots scheduled on the 24th.

Thank you so very much.  She is EVERYTHING we could have possibly hoped for and more. German Shepherd infection is an understatement!

Warmly,  Maui and family
