Moira is a beautiful young female that we added to our family when she was just 6 weeks old. She is confident, has a strong herding instinct, is amazingly agile, at ease in all situations and is a quick study in any task she is put to. She is completely steady in nerve and drivy, solid in her bite yet quick to make friends. She is genetically sound. Moira has matured into a fabulous adult female with the grace and movement that we treasure. She is Dawn’s “punky princess” and constant shadow.

How many dogs do you know who have “their own song”? Well, Moira has two. The first song she has had since she was a tiny little girl, and it made her wiggle her little butt and come running to me the second I sang it to her. She has been a dream to train - she is so attentive and so stunning to work with - her constant eye contact and that smile that you have to be conscious of so you don’t get wrapped into it and forget that you were actually training her.

Moira for me is the essence of the German Shepherd Infection that we talk about - her good nature and charisma steal peoples hearts all of the time, it’s no wonder that we have pups from Moira in several different breeding homes and in several different countries... who can resist the infectious personality, the smile and the devotion she shares with the world?

Moira is lightning fast and completely confident with other dogs, even dogs she has never met before. She is our shining star that teaches other dogs how to play like a dog. She knows how to bring a nervous dog peace, a frightened dog calm, and an aggressive dog play. She is always up for the challenge of teaching another dog to play, running with them, chasing them and then having them chase her. For those of you who know dog behaviors, you understand the significance - for those of you who don’t, quickly, almost ALL dogs enjoy the “chase” game - however most dogs are either the chaser or the chasee, it’s rare to find a dog that does both and enjoys both.


	We are well aware that the long stock coat is not for everyone... and it’s a good thing that it’s not, because I am not willing to just breed Moira every time she is in heat. She is my best buddy, my companion and my pal, likewise, I am hers. She is a fantastic mother, and we will have more litters from her, but I don’t know that she will have nearly enough for everyone to have one of her pups. Because of this, her daughter Enia remains with us (and well, she and I are as close as her mother and I), it runs in the line, it’s part of our Noir breeding and I just adore it! 		Since Kiaya’s death, Moira has taken the alpha bitch role, we are not certain if she will keep it, but she is managing it quite well and following in the footsteps that Kiaya so diligently showed her while she was alive. Her daughter, Enia was Kiaya’s choice to take the alpha role... only time will tell.
