MondouCu Males
The male German Shepherd Dog should exude strength. He should be confident and alert with the initial appearance of dignity. He should be serious when needed, yet gregarious when out playing with his family. He should be highly responsive, intensely in tune and completely balanced. He should never be shy or aggressive to those he has been introduced to and he must be able to distinguish the difference between friend and foe with an innate ability held only by dogs.

 “Endy”
Endy is a Kato x Kiaya son and in 2008 he entered our breeding program (a little late, but he’s my friend above everything else and I wanted a friend MORE than I wanted a breeding dog). Endy is an amazing German Shepherd Dog, completely at ease in the world. In 2007, Endy gently took the alpha position from his father and has been “in charge” since. He is even tempered, calm, charismatic, loving, completely devoted and above all else - his demeanor is that of “Bob Marley”. He is one of the greatest gifts I could have ever received from Kato & Kiaya. Everyone who meets Endy falls in love with him - he is truly an amazing creature that I adore. If you have the opportunity, you should come and visit him, he really is one of a kind.

 “Gus”
Gus is our class clown, always trying to get someone to laugh and simply enjoy life - yet he is keenly aware of those around him that are not to be trusted, and can turn from a playful clown into a serious protector in the blink of an eye. His stable temperament and easy-going disposition make him welcome my many that would often shy away from a German Shepherd. His structure is completely correct, without being extreme on either the working or show side, yet he works diligently and shows well. He is a character and passes this along to his children. He does not carry for the coat factor. Gus is SAR & Narcotics trained. He is genetically sound. He has good bone, not refined and not too heavy and his amazing zest for life brings an amazing balance to his children that we completely treasure.  “Levi”
Levi is a West German Showline male that joined our family in February 2010. We have watched him grow and learn and have incorporated him into our breeding program. He is a large, typically jovial and Happy-Go-Lucky guy, with a very serious edge. When he is playing, he is "all play", when he is guarding he is "all guard". He is happy and joyful in his obedience, though sometimes he would rather play than work. He is full of heart, a silly lighthearted guy who sometimes forgets that he's supposed to be "a big dog". He came to us as an older Male, we are continuing to expand his world and explore which training venues he will excel in with us. He is strong willed and pretty intense.

 “Amonte”
Amonte is a Gus x Dar son. He is a fun loving, outgoing male with a well balanced temperament. He is a willing learner and an imposing presence with the balance of loyalty, familial adoration, structural integrity and high intensity. Amonte reminds us more and more every day of his Grandfather, Kato. He is very typical of a “Gardus” male we adore him. We have decided to bring him into our breeding program, he will produce active, alert confident children with a strong devotion to family. Amonte is a great herding dog and we will continue to work with him. Amonte is a carrier for the black and coat factor.

The female German Shepherd Dog should exude passion. Her love for life, her natural possessive tendencies and her grace should shine. She shall be kind, attentive and loyal - her pups early development depends solely upon her ability to be the best. The temperament of the female GSD must be exquisite.  “Tori”
Victoria aka: “Tori” is our zest. She is pushy, she is dominant, she is fire and she is a delight. She is intensely focused not only upon the job or game she is playing but also upon the handler. Her movement is glorious. She captivates anyone willing to spend time with her. Aloof, yet friendly; drivy, yet clear headed. She is passion through and through. She is a strong mother, producing strong pups that become confident dogs at a very early age.

 “Moira” (moy-RA)
If ever there were an everywhere dog, this is her! Moira is Dawn’s shadow, affectionately known around here as “the punky princess”. She is incredibly social, intensely handler focused and well adjusted. She is confident & dominant, yet is exceptionally quick to diffuse. She is a die-hard mother, a tireless companion and a trusted confidant. She produces pups that are as confident, handler focused, affectionate and exceptional companions.

 “Heli” (An-hel-iKA)
Angelica aka: “Heli” is a Gus x Dar daughter. She is pure love. She is confident, outgoing, willful and has amazing structure. She is the perpetual class clown like her father, the life of the party and a social butterfly like her mother. Attentive and loyal without being needy or clingy - she is as she is named - part angel & part hellion. She produces pups that are strong willed, amazingly attentive, outgoing, clever and full of personality.

 “Samba”
Samba is our dedicated “ice queen”, she is arrogant, cool and not one to make friends readily. She is loyal and faithful to friends, teasing us all into her games with whichever toy is nearest. Once allowed into her inner circle, Samba will show off her “giggle butt” a constantly wagging entire hind end. She is an excellent mother and raises pups to be confident yet cautious.

 “Liz”
Liz is our fire: amped, ramped and ready to go. She is intensity and drive in an explosive dynamite package. She is completely focused on any and all tasks she is given and is completely devoted to Lori. Liz is always ready to take any and every task to the next level and is always ready to move out. Make no mistake, this girl is amazing! Liz has produced pups that we are exceptionally pleased with, they are strong willed, serious pups with an intense edge to them who are loving and devoted to their families yet ready to work at any moment.

 “Brigid”
Brigid is our flower child. She is exceptionally well structured with good bone, correct angles, beautiful movement - her temperament is super stunning and as if that is all not enough... she has a nice strong grip. Brigid is known here as our gentle soul who wants noting more than peace and harmony in the world. She does not engage in daily disagreements but is always available as “back-up” if needed. Unfortunately, Brigid’s ear was broken by the older girls while she was out playing at 9 months - but sometimes that is what happens when you are playing rough.

 “Nahinni” (na-HE-ni)
“He-knee” as we affectionately call her, is a Kovaya x Dar daughter and is our soul. She has exquisite structure, she is extremely well balanced and she is intensely loyal and affectionate to those she loves. She is a beautiful balance of work and show lines in a coated bitch and we look forward with great anticipation to her pups - who, like her grandfather, we expect to reset the bar for many.

 “Dia”
“Dia” is a stunning little bi-color bitch who we are getting to know. She is a beautiful mover with a ton of personality and lust for life. She is cautious of strangers and is melding well with our crew. She has a very serious working side to her with an intense focus and drive. Dia is an easy keeper in that she does not have high demands for attention, though she is loving and attentive when the situation is appropriate. She is fast and agile with a lower stationed frame.

 “Enia”
Enia is our dichotomy ~ there is “My Enia” - a cuddly girl with a passion to please, a deep desire to be with me and do with me... then there is “Taylor’s Enia” a wickedly naughty girl who flies through the house at lightning speed to engage in a game of bite, tug, pick and poke. If you didn’t know, we have parakeets... they are “Enia’s birds” ~ though I feed and water them... she watches them and monitors their every move. Enia is devious and cunning, the life of the party and the best snuggler there ever could be. She has stolen my heart... watch out, she will steal yours too.

 “May”
May is our fairy ~ our smart, sophisticated girl with a playful, but arrogant way about her. She looks good and she knows it and loves the attention she receives when she shows it. She's clever and cunning... and she's not afraid to show that off! She's fun, fun loving, flirty, coy and commands our attention... she always has something to do! She has a lighthearted devious side to her that quickly captures your heart and steals your attention with her antics before you have time to realize what she’s done. Appropriately named, after Nat King Cole’s song, “Come what May”... she is content with the outcome of any situation as she always makes the best of everything. She has a high confidence level - a working brain in a showy body.

 “Fallin”
Fallin is my heart... she’s named after Nat King Cole’s song, “When I fall in love”... and oh am I in love, and it will be forever. She’s a vivacious bundle of energy with an intense willingness to please (at least me). She’s silly and outgoing with tons of personality. She is very talkative and no one comes through the house without a personal and vocal greeting from my girl. She’s amazingly cleaver and exceptionally bright, her learning curve is stunning and she has a natural working ability, add to all of these things her graceful movement and well... I’m in love and so THRILLED that we bred the Koel litter.

Eyes on the future.
